A delegation of Aam Aadmi Party Chhattisgarh unit called on Chief Electoral Officer Subrat Sahoo and held discussion on the election related problems, the party is facing in the state on Tuesday.
Former minister in Delhi government and AAP leader Somnath Bharati led the delegation.
Interacting with media after the meeting, Somnath Bharati said that in name of election model code of conduct, the AAP party posters are being torn across the state.
The AAP party had sought prior permission for the public meetings which has been cancelled and officials are adopting dilly-dally attitude for granting new permission.
He further said that in name of MCC, the pre-booked room for the cabinet minister of Delhi government was also cancelled.
Media coordinator Uchit Sharma and co-organisation secretary Ravi Manav said that the delegation placed the issues before the CEO. CEO assured the delegation that it would direct the lower cadre officials to ensure impartial election.
