Consulting & Entrepreneurship Club of IIM Raipur conducted second meet of start-up community – Aakash at IIM Raipur with theme 'Funding Opportunities' and 'Hiring for Startups', informed IIM officials on Sunday.
The highlight of the meet was Sachin Iyer, Executive Director, The Indus Entrepreneurs (TIE), Nagpur enlightening members on angel funding, expectations of venture capitalists and different forms of funding opportunities. Other speakers in the event included Abhiney, founder Birghton International School who shared his knowledge on education domain, including the challenges faced and future prospects. Deepak Singh, founder GDS consultants shared his expertise on Digital Marketing.
Saurabh Chaubey of IMS Academy and alumnus of IIM Raipur motivated aspiring entrepreneurs by shedding light on huge opportunities associated with a start up. This it was followed by a networking session where entrepreneurs interacted actively with fellow entrepreneurs over Tea. The Aakash team shared its plans to partner with angel investors, venture capitalists and other investors to facilitate funding process for members of its startup community with a vision to help startups in their growth by providing different resources like network, funding opportunities, expert advices.
