Authorities have begun preparation to hold biometric Aadhaar card camps in the township area of Bhilai Municipal Corporation from December 21, officials here said on Saturday.
The camp will start at Ward No. 37 of Sector 1 and conclude at Ward No. 50 of Sector 7 between February 4-14. Senior officials including those involved in census operation, trainers over saw the arrangements and provided detail information to the heads of families at the Municipality Conference Hall on Thursday.
State coordinator of Bharat Electronics limited, Nagendra and his colleagues provided necessary information and training to the officials who will be involved in the registration. The school buildings, Ispat Club and Cultural Centre have been identified as the places where the registration will be carried out.
General Manager of the Bhilai Steel Plant City Service Department has been directed to make necessary arrangements at the camps and ensure trouble-free registration.
