Chief Minister Raman Singh announced in Chhattisgarh Assembly on Wednesday evening that the Seventh Pay Commission salary scales will be implemented for Government officers and employees in Chhattisgarh from April 1, 2017 — the beginning of the new financial year.
The move is expected to benefit more than 2.60 lakh officers and employees in the State, he said.
The Forest Department employees will also get bravery awards in the State for their acts of courage in protecting forests, wildlife and conserving the environment, the Chief Minister announced.
