Health Minister Ajay Chandrakar on Thursday informed the Chhattisgarh Assembly that a total of 45 patients died after being affected by swine flu virus between January and October this year.
In a written reply to Congress member Arun Vora, the Minister informed that a total of 930 samples of the suspected swine flu patients were sent for examination from 21 districts out of which 218 tested positive.
The maximum 450 samples were sent from Raipur district in which 108 tested positive and 16 patients died.
