Chief Minister Raman Singh on Tuesday informed Chhattisgarh Assembly that 43 villages had been electrified in Sukma Development Block in Bastar division.
In a written reply to Congress member Kawasi lakhma, the Chief Minister informed that nine villages in the development block now remain unelectrified.
He said that in the Gondpalli, Mankapal, Pordem and Gonderas village panchayats, out of the seven unelectrified villages, four are targetted to be electrified by June 2017 and it will not be possible to provide time line for the rest of the three villages for completion of work as they are insurgency infested, Singh said.
