A total of 418 surrendered Maoists, 1440 handicapped persons and 5059 convicts were provided skills training in jails between 2015-16 and December 2017, Technical Education Minister Prem Prakash Pandey informed Chhattisagrh Assembly.
In a written reply to Congress member Satyanarayan Sharma, the Minister informed that 374 surrendered Maoists, 286 handicapped persons and 345 convicts were provided self employment.
