Forty fresh Covid-19 patients were detected in different districts of Chhattisgarh on Friday while 52 patients were discharged after their recovery, officials said here.
Among the new patients, 8 were from Kanker, 7 from Raipur, 6 each from Bilaspur and Balrampur, 5 from Dantewada, 3 each from Jagdalpur and Narayanpur and 2 patients from Rajnandgaon, Health officials said.
So far, samples of 1,77,554 persons have been tested through RT-PCR and TrueNat tests. Of these, 3,065 people were found positive and 2,414 were discharged after recovery. Currently there are 637 active patients in Chhattisgarh, where 14 people have lost their lives to the virus.
