Chief Minister Raman Singh informed in the Chhattisgarh Assembly on Monday that a total of four Memorandum of Understanding (MoUs) with industrial houses were terminated during the past four years in the State.
Between 2009-10 till March 2013, the State Government signed MoUs with a total of 216 industrial houses for establishment of various projects, the Chief Minister informed in a written reply to his own party member Devjibhai Patel. Singh stated that there is no time limit determined for industrial projects to be established in the State. The industrial houses with whom MoUs were terminated are—M/s Jaiprakash Associates, New Delhi, M/s Prudent Power and Steel Pvt ltd, M/s Cosmos Sponge and Power ltd besides Baldev Energy and Chemicals, Singh stated.
