Four children, two boys and two girls of Bijapur and Dantewada Government Children’s Home have brought laurel to State of Chhattisgarh.
They have been selected to be part of the 21-day Sports Exchange Programme in France. The programme is to impart technical training and basics of football during the period. The programme is slated from June 17 to July 5 in France and they have already left. They will return back on July 6.
The district level Women and Child Development Department officials said that children had been selected on basis of their excellent track record during the past years.These four children have taken part in National Children’s Utsav 2017 held at New Delhi in the year 2017. They helped to bag the Over-all Championship to state of Chhattisgarh. Girls had bagged Gold medal in football and boys won bronze medal.
