Pt. Ravishankar Shukla University, Raipur in association with National Centre for Natural Resources (NCNR) and the Society for Ethnopharmacology (SFE)-India is organising the 3rd International Congress of the Society for Ethnopharmacology in Raipur from February 19.
The theme of International Congress scheduled to be concluding on February 21 is ‘Ethnopharmacology and Evaluation of Medicinal Plants-Global Perspectives’, informed the University sources.
The objective of this Congress is to provide a platform for the interaction among top-notched researchers, professionals, entrepreneurs and young students in the field of Ethnopharmacology and allied disciplines, said the sources, elaborating that Ethnopharmacology is systemic study of the use of medicinal plants by specific cultural groups.
On the occasion, renowned scientists, researchers and students would be presenting research papers on different aspects of Ethnopharmacology, added the sources.
Sources further informed that scientists from across the country and overseas are going to register their presence in the International Congress as speakers.
