A total of 36 doctors at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences, Raipur on Thursday tested Covid-19 positive.
The hospital management took to Twitter to say that 33 intern doctors and three senior doctors have tested positive for the infection.
The tweet said the interns included 19 men and 14 women.
“The interns have been quarantined in the respective hostels and their condition is normal,” it said.
The AIIMS said: "No intern has been asked to vacate the hostel. The information being circulated in this regard is completely baseless.”
