A total of 32,378 children were found malnourished during the ‘Vazan Tauhar’ (Weighing Festival) in Rajnandgaon district in the month of December 2017, the Chhattisgarh Assembly was informed.
The development blocks and the number of malnurished children registered in Rajnandgaon district are as follows-Rajnandgaon (5009), Dongargarh (3216), Khairagarh (5014), Chhuikhadan (3314), Churiya (3669), Dongargaon (2607), Chowki (2487), Mohla (1755) and Manpur ( 5297).
