More than 300 investors have registered for the Global Investors Meet ‘Investgarh- Chhattisgarh’ to be held from January 27 to 31, 2022. The event is scheduled at Atal Nagar, Nava Raipur.
Chief Secretary Amitabh Jain on Saturday, at a meeting of the Industries and Commerce Department, discussed the preparations for the upcoming meet, an official communication said.
Principal Secretary (Commerce and Industry) Manoj Kumar Pingua said the new industrial policy of the state government has created a positive environment for capital investment in Chhattisgarh.
Domestic and foreign investor companies have shown interest for the meet. These include Amazon, Ola Electric, Microsoft and Del Monte.
Jain said the priority sector for investment includes food parks, food processing units, agro-based industries and other employment generation units.
