Three-day 'Rajyotsav -2018’ is scheduled to be held from November 1 to 3 at Pandit Shyama Prasad Mukherjee Industrial and Business premises at Tuta village in Atal Nagar.
Additional Chief Secretary Panchayat and Rural Development R P Mandal presided over the meeting to review preparations being made for the event.
He directed the officials to ensure that election model code of conduct is not violated in any condition.
This year at district level, no events related to Rajyotsav would be organised and will be held at capital city only.
Officers were given responsibility for holding the event. No exhibition related to the different departments would be organised. The business fair will comprise industrial, commercial, handicrafts, book fair, food and entertainment sections.
Cultural programmes will be organised from 6 pm to 10 pm only. Shilp Gram will have 28 stalls where cottage industries based handicrafts and pottery related to Maati Kala Board materials will be kept for display.
