The State Government has sanctioned Rs 2.20 crore from its infrastructure fund to Raipur Municipal Corporation for construction of 24 community halls in different wards of the State capital. The Urban Administration and Development directorate has issued administrative sanction order for this amount.
Besides, the directorate has separately sanctioned Rs 43.58 lakh the corporation for construction of roads in the wards of the city. The department has issued instructions to the municipal corporation commissioner to spend the amount in the sanctioned heads only.Said in an official statement issued here on Saturday.
Officers of the Urban Administration directorate on Saturday said that Rs 2.20 lakh has been sanctioned for the construction of community hall at Shaheed Nagar in Veer Shivaji Ward, Rs 2.28 lakh for Sahu Bhawan at Veer Shivaji Ward, Rs 3.28 lakh for Sanskriti Bhawan at Sahu Bhawan in Veer Shivaji ward, Rs 302 lakh for construction of community hall at Ramakrishna Paramahansa ward Kota, Rs 6 lakh for construction additional hall of Adhariya Samaj Seva Samity Dangania in Pt Deendayal Upadhyay ward, Rs 5 lakh for construction community hall of Jheria Yadav community in Thakur Pyarelal Singh ward, Rs 3.08 lakh for construction of building near Adarsh Karma Vidya Mandir in Thakkarbappa ward, Rs 3 lakh for construction of Sahu Samaj community hall at Madhavrao Sapre ward, Rs 5 lakh for construction of community hall at Ramakrishna Paramahansa ward, Rs 8.10 lakh for construction of community hall at Veer Savarkar Nagar ward Heerapur, Rs 7.57 lakh for construction of community hall of Sant Ravidas Mehar Samaj at ward-2, Rs 3 lakh for construction of first floor of Jhulaghar at Veer Shivaji ward and Rs 3.30 lakh for construction of first floor of community hall at Sonia Nagar in Veer Shivaji ward.
Similarly, Rs 3.46 lakh has been sanctioned for construction of Gosaibada community hall at Thakkarbappa ward, Rs 2 lakh for construction of Kabir Kutir at Heerapur, Rs 2 lakh for construction of incomplete community half of Nishad Samaj at Madavrao Sapre ward, Rs 1.5 lakh for construction of hall at Yadavpara in Thakkarbappa ward, Rs 1 lakh for construction of compound of Sheetal Mandir at Veer Savarkar ward, Rs 4 lakh for construction of community hall of Sunni Masjid at Saheed Manmohan Singh Bakshi ward, Rs 7 lakh for construction of community hall near Satakshi Mandir situated at Thakur Pyarelal Singh ward, Rs 11.28 lakh for construction of BMW/concrete road at Madhavrao Sapre ward, Rs 17.30 lakh for construction of BMW/concrete road at Saheed Chunamani Nayak ward, Rs 15 lakh for construction of road at Ramakrishna Paramahansa ward Kota.
