Chief Minister Raman Singh on Tuesday informed Chhattisgarh Assembly that in financial year 2014-15, the State had 226 power consumers each with pending electricity bills of more than Rs5 lakh.
In a written reply to Congress member Bhupesh Baghel, Singh informed that of the 226 consumers, eight were domestic consumers and 152 were industrial consumers. As of March 1 this year, power connections of 72 industrial consumers have been cut.
