Chief Minister Raman Singh on Saturday distributed pressure cookers to the beneficiaries of Prime Minister Housing Project at Kansabel in Jashpur district.
While congratulating all the beneficiaries, Singh posed a query to a beneficiary Kusmi Bai of village Kusumtaal that if he visits her village could she cook and feed him daalIJ Kusmi Bai answered in the affirmative. The beneficiaries smiled when she replied in Rs yes’ with a big smile.
It may be mentioned here that Singh is touring the district as a part of his ongoing Vikas Yatra to brief people about the developments works being carried out by his government in past 15 years.
Raman Singh is heading the BJP government in Chhattisgarh since December 2003. The state goes to assembly polls later this year.
