A joint squad of Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) and District Force (DF) on Tuesday nabbed as many as eight ultras, including a woman, in worst insurgency-hit Sukma district of Chhattisgarh, police said.
While undertaking area domination exercise, security personnel nabbed eight insurgents from village Murki and Rampuram falling under limits of Gadiras police station, said Sukma Additional Superintendent of Police (ASP) Santosh Singh.
The arrested ultras have been identified as Somaru, Madavi Muya, Kawasi Manga, Podiyami Bheema, Padami Muya, Banjami Hidma, Madvi Veera and a female cadre Madkami Hidme, Singh said.
According to him, on being subjected to interrogation, they admitted of having links with the banned organization.
