Dr Nitin Madan Kulkarni, Vice Chancellor of Vinoba Bhave University, has quashed the transfer orders issued by the order of Ex-Vice Chancellor Dr. RN Bhagat in the month of July-August 2013. Notification of quashing of previous transfer orders has been issued by Registrar Dr. SP Sinha.
Ex-Vice Chancellor Dr. RN Bhagat has transferred more than 3 dozen teachers in July and August 2013 at the end of his three year tenure. At that time The Pioneer had indicated that these transfers were not according to the rules and it will become controversial soon.
VC Dr. Kulkarni, on Saturday has written in his order sheet that after getting several complains and request letters of teachers, he went through the files and found that the transfers have not been made as per act and statute. He had clearly written that the cause of transfers given in the file is not satisfactory. On these grounds he finally ordered to quash the previous notifications.
The style of functioning of senior IAS Dr. Kulkarni who is in-charge of various offices of the State Government nowadays has started fruiting for the teachers and staffs of Vinoba Bhave University. last week he had made some queries on salary and pension file due to which it got delayed by one week but it yielded positively for VBU as the HRD ministry of State Government has agreed to give 2-3 full days for fixation of salaries of teachers and staffs of VBU.
On Saturday Dr. Kulkarni was in VBU and after disposing files he took a close look of the examination department, of some classes in arts block and meeting going on in old building on the issue of B.Ed fee structure. By this he had clearly given a message to all that he is keen to bring back VBU back on the track.
