Higher Education and Revenue Minister Prem Prakash Pandey informed the Chhattisgarh Assembly on Thursday that there are 19,53,556 educated unemployed persons registered in the State with various employment exchanges and Self Employment Guidance Centres during the current year (2017).
In a written reply to leader of Opposition T S Singhdeo, the Minister informed that between 2010-11 and 2016-17, there were 34,191 educated unemployed persons who were beneficiaries of ‘educated unemployed allowance’ scheme. The scheme was closed on November 20, 2015.
