A 19-year-old boy was found hanged from the ceiling of his house on Saturday morning. According to police, the boy was reportedly ticked off by his father for returning home late on Friday night.
Police informed that the deceased was identified as Anurag lahre, son of Basant lahre resident of New Shanti Nagar. The deceased was student of Class XI in Holy Mother School.
On Friday the deceased had started from home with some of his friends and returned home late night. “The father of boy objected late returning to home and allegedly reprimanded him. The offended boy went to sleep in his room. Saturday morning the boy did not open the door, then the family members peeped into the room and found body of the boy hanging from the ceiling,” informed Ml Sinha the officer investigating the case.
Police did not recover any suicide note and were investigating the case. Body of boy has been sent for post-mortem and Civil lines police has registered a case in this connection.
