The Tribal Dance Festival will be held from November 1, the 23rd state foundation day of Chhattisgarh, to November 3.
Chhattisgarh will complete 22 years of formation on November 1. The day will be celebrated across the state with pomp and show.
An official communiqué on Thursday said that an important part of the celebrations will be the grand Tribal Dance Festival, being organized in Chhattisgarh for a third time.
Aimed at bringing international recognition to tribal culture and civilization of Chhattisgarh, the mega event will be held at Science College Ground here.
Teams from tribal communities of almost all the states and Union Territories along with those of nine countries will participate.
About 1,500 tribal artists will perform, out of which 1,400 will be from India.
