Home Minister Ramsevak Paikra informed the Chhattisgarh Assembly on Wednesday that a total of 422 accidents occurred on the National Highway-6 connecting Raipur and Durg cities between 2015 and September 30, 2016.
In a written reply to BJP member Vidyaratan Bhasin, the Minister informed that a total of 136 people lost their lives in the 422 accidents .
He said that, as of now, there is no plan to construct a bye-pass on the National Highway 6 connecting Raipur and Durg cities.
