Health Minister Ajay Chandrakar informed the Chhattisgarh Assembly on Monday that there had been a total of 78 deaths due to diarrhoea and 113 due to malaria during 2016-17 as on January 31, 2017.
In a written reply to Congress member Motilal Dewangan, the Minister informed that there had been 97 deaths due to malaria and 20 deaths due to diahorrea during 2015-16.
