A total of 105 Covid-19 patients were detected across Chhattisgarh on Friday, the highest figure so far for a single day, health officials said. Also, 31 patients were discharged after recovery, the officials said.
Four fresh Covid cases were detected in Raipur. These include two women from Kabir Nagar and Kanpa locality and a policeman posted at the Mandir Hasoud police station. The location of the fourth person in Raipur city is yet to be released.
As per official information, Korba was the hotspot on Friday as 40 patients were detected in the district. Baloda Bazar accounted for 16, Bilaspur 14, Raigarh 13, Raipur 4, Rajnandgaon 6, Balod 4, Kawardha 2 and Durg district 6. The 31 discharged patients include 10 from AIIMS Raipur, 15 from Covid Hospital Mana Raipur and 6 from Covid Hospital Bilaspur.
