The Chief Minister inspected the school besides viewing the panoramic view from the rooftop. He interacted with teachers and students. Lauding the confidence of the students, he urged them to become good citizens. He told teachers to inculcate good traditions among the children.

Baghel said akin to the Mussoorie and Doon schools, the Chirimiri school can be developed as it is surrounded by natural beauty and the environment is calm. The facilities can be enhanced.

Already 52 schools have been started. Now, the competition to get admission in these schools has increased manifold.

The Chief Minister promised to develop the area as a hilly tourist destination and said resources will not be a limitation for Chirimiri, Manendragarh, Baikunthpur and other areas of Korea district.

The school has been constructed through the District Mineral Fund. It has Classes 1 to 12, with 375 students.
