Chief Minister Raman Singh on Thursday informed the Chhattisgarh Assembly that a total of 10 villages in Kondagaon district of Bastar were electrified by Chhattisgarh Renewable Energy Development Agency (CREDA) between 2013-14 and January 31, 2016.
In a written reply to Congress member Santram Netam, the Chief Minister informed that it is targetted to electrify one village ‘Kidam’ in the district during financial year 2016-17.
Singh also informed that a total of 70 solar powered hand pumps are operational in 76 village panchayats of the district.
