As many as 1.10 lakh tonnes of paddy were procured in the last seven days in Chhattisgarh, it was announced on Monday.
The procurement began on November 1 and will continue till January 31, 2023, an official statement said.
A total of 2,497 procurement centers have been set up and Rs 295.65 crores have been released to the farmers, it said.
A total of 16,589 tokens were issued to procure paddy.
The government has to procure about 110 lakh tonnes of paddy for the kharif marketing year 2022-23.
