Farmers and labourers would be on the centre stage for formulation of economic policies in the state. The Government would frame policies as per their needs said General Secretary of Chhattisgarh Pradesh Congress Committee and Chairman of party's Communication Wing Shailesh Nitin Trivedi here on Wednesday.
Regarding farm loan waiver by the Congress Government in the State, Trivedi said “we have kept the promise made by our leader AICC President Rahul Gandhi who by launching the poll campaign at local Science College on October 22 had assured the farmers of the state of waiving off their loan”.
The newly formed Congress government in its very first cabinet meeting had now fulfilled its pledge, he said.
