Firebrand BJP legislator Brijmohan Agrawal in a statement on Friday said that so many leaders are facing neglect in Chhattisgarh Congress and several Scindias are likely to come to fore in near future here too.
Taking a dig on not calling Health Minister T.S. Singhdeo to the high level meeting on Coronavirus on Thursday evening, Agrawal said he was not alone but there are so many dissatisfied Congressmen facing the neglect as Jyotiraditya Scindia was feeling in Madhya Pradesh.
Strongly reacting to the comment of Agrawal, Pradesh Congress Committee’s state general secretary and chairman communication wing Shailesh Nitin Trivedi refuted the charges of any ‘internal bickering’ or any ‘neglect’.
Regarding allegation of neglect of Singhdeo, Trivedi said he was on Bhopal tour and there was no intimation that he had returned and that was why he was not called in the meeting.
Trivedi further charged that Agrawal himself was neglected for long and even being competent was denied the post of state BJP chief earlier. “We have not forgotten the resentment of Agrawal’s supporters who had then set ablaze the state BJP office,” he said.
He further advised the BJP leader for not giving any suggestion to Congress as to how to run the government in the state.
“There are so many dissidents in BJP and how could Agrawal forget how Lal Krishna Advani, Murli Manohar Joshi, Yashwant Sinha, Shatrughan Sinha, Arun Shauri, Sanjay Joshi were honoured in BJP”, he further added.
