‘Rozgar Camps' will be organized all across Chhattisgarh soon for migrant workers who have returned to the state so that they can get employment based on their skills.
This follows a direction of Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel, whose government wants to ensure employment to all the migrant labourers who have left other states and are presently unemployed.
The Deputy Chief Executive Officer of the Chhattisgarh State Skill Development Authority (CSSDA) and the State Project Livelihood College Society (SPLCS) has issued detailed guidelines to organize the ‘Rozgar’ (employment) Camps to all Skill Development Nodal Officers in the districts.
The guidelines say that information regarding requirement of skilled and unskilled manpower in various industries, firms and institutions is being collected.
The Industry and Labour Department in coordination with the industries will hold the camps. It will help the migrant workers to get employment based on their skills.
At the camps, all protocols aimed at preventing Covid-19 have to be followed. They will have a facility for direct interaction of the migrant labourers with potential employers.
