An indefinite strike of Patwaris ended after assurances from Revenue Minister Jaisingh Agrawal on Tuesday to study their demands sympathetically.
The Patwaris were on strike since December 14 with nine demands. They met Agrawal and after his assurance called off their strike, a press statement said.
They handed over a charter of their demands to the Minister.
Meanwhile, state President of Patwai Sangh Ashwani Kumar Verma said that of their nine demands, the government has accepted seven and so they were withdrawing the strike.
