Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel on Wednesday launched the ‘Integrated Kisan Portal’, where a farmer needs to register just once for the Rajiv Gandhi Kisan Nyay Yojana, paddy procurement, Chief Minister Plantation Incentive Scheme and procurement of minor millets.
He launched the website https://kisan.cg.nic.in just before the cabinet meeting, an official communication said.
Baghel said to be covered under different schemes, the farmers can register once. This will cover the registered farmers for schemes like Rajiv Gandhi Kisan Nyay Yojana, paddy procurement, Plantation Incentive Scheme and procurement of minor millets.
Agriculture Production Commission and Agriculture Department Secretary Dr M Geetha said the process of registration of farmers for different schemes has been simplified.
The portal can also calculate the funds to be released for the farmers based on farm holdings. The data can also be carried forward.
