Raipur Municipal Corporation Mayor Pramod Dubey said Mahatma Gandhi means an ideology, honesty and positive thinking. “If a person thinks negatively, his work and thoughts will always remain negative. So, there is a need for everyone to look towards the positive side of things,” he added. He was addressing as chief guest at a two-day National Conference on topic ‘Mahatma Gandhi and Swaraj’ organised by Public Relation Society of India (PRSI), Raipur Chapter on Saturday at Pt. Ravishankar Shukla University auditorium.
Dubey added world recognises the contribution of Mahatma Gandhi and that is why 73 countries have his statues while top leadership of countries pay tribute and prefer to follow the ideology and path laid down by Gandhi. In key note address, Prof Manoj Kumar from MG International Hindi University, Wardha highlighted different aspects of life of Gandhi from ‘Mohandas to Mahatma’ and the concept of ‘Swaraj’ including freedom struggle.
