BJP leader and former Minister Brijmohan Agrawal on Tuesday criticized the Chhattisgarh government for not being serious over the scanty rainfall and warned of a drought like situation if monsoon does not return in a week or two.
He told the media that farmers in state are worried over the scanty rainfall and want the government to help. But the government has no plan to deal with a drought.
The farmers are unable to irrigate their land with electric pumps as there is power cut after 5 p.m. each day, he said.
