State government had decided to wind up the Charan-Paduka scheme of previous Bharatiya Janata Party government in which foot-wears were provided to the tendu leaves pluckers of the state.
Making announcement about it, the Forest Minister Mohammed Akbar said the government would not provide foot wears from the financial year 2019-20. Replying to a query of BJP legislator Ajay Chandrakar he further informed that till then the government had not decided to provide any cash amount instead.
