Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel on Wednesday stressed the need to bring glory to Chhattisgarh's rich cultural heritage and to give it an identity at the national and international levels.
Baghel was addressing the maiden meeting of the Chhattisgarh Culture Council here.
On the occasion, the Chief Minister congratulated the new members of the Council and urged them to work together and uphold the pride of Chhattisgarh's cultural heritage.
He said the experts of art and culture and related disciplines have been appointed as members of the Council.
“It is anticipated that this Council will establish a new cultural identity of Chhattisgarh at the national level and also provide an opportunity to bring forth the talents of the state,” he said.
