"It will start building with word of mouth. It's a sensitive subject and it will grow with audience's support," she said.

The movie is based on Sarabjit Singh, who died following an assault by fellow prisoners at a Pakistani jail.

In the biopic, the 42-year-old star plays the role of Sarabjit's sister, Dalbir Kaur.

Aishwarya said the makers are seeking tax free opportunities across the nation.

"The film is seeking tax free opportunities. I am hoping it receives that kind of support as well so that it become easier for a wider audience to access it. This film should reach every corner of the country," she said.
