Natural beauty treatments have picked up rapidly. You often hear words like rejuvenation, oxygenation and hydration, all of these terms are now used by many beauty brands to sell skin care product to consumers.
Switching to commercial cosmetics from grand-parental home remedies has been a big generational move. However, commercial cosmetics are good for the skin only to a point and they might not suffice to prevent damage from pollution and the scorching sun. Thus, natural beauty products made of aloe vera, shea butter or rose are now in demand.
To take it to the next level, Olivier Claire, a French skincare brand, has partnered with Roseate Hotels to bring a range of unique skin treatments that combine Nature and pleasure. The use of sea fennel in their products makes them extra special. One of the most popular facial treatments — Soin Majeur de Beaute — includes pinpointed techniques and potent ingredients that can restructure the skin.
“Organic products are proven to have better effects on the skin,” says Dr Marie Hélène Abbo, director, Divine Virgins Pvt ltd. She adds: “Chemicals can be very harmful to our body whereas products that come from plants are gentle on the skin. The key is for them to be active.” The ‘no-make-up’ trend came from this concept and has been the go-to do for most celebrities. Chantal Nardo, aesthetic expert at Olivier Clair, says it is all about the attitude while giving the treatment and everything, including the hand and body movements, count. The treatment is available for Rs 10,000, plus taxes.
