A visibly-inebriated woman hurled choicest abuses and assaulted private security guards at the entrance of a group housing society in Noida in a repeat of the infamous Shrikant Tyagi episode. After the video went viral on social media, the Gautam Budha Nagar police arrested the woman.
The Residents Welfare Association (RWA) of the Jaypee Wish Town society has also asked the woman, Bhavya Rao, to vacate the flat which she rented in May.
It is suspected that the woman was under the influence of alcohol and a medical report is awaited. Details of what triggered the argument were yet to be confirmed. Roy is said to be a lawyer by profession. In the video, the woman can be seen manhandling one of the guards, dragging him by the collar of his uniform, hurling abuses, and also asking the guards to respect women. She also made indecent gestures and threatening remarks against them.
A complaint was also given by the victim, identified as Anoop Kumar, who was on duty at the gate between Towers 11 to 18 of the society.
