Vikas Raj vs Jungle Raj: PM

Vikas Raj vs Jungle Raj: PM
Published on:

From beef to Bigg Boss, Prime Minister Narendra Modi was full of scorn against his rivals on Thursday in all his four election meetings in Bihar. Modi referred to the statement of RJD chief lalu Prasad on beef eating and said it was “sheer insult of my Yaduvanshis”. Terming Maha Gathbandhan as “Maha Swarth Bandhan” (grand selfish alliance), he said it was like the house of Bigg Boss where each participant was scared of each other and conspiring to eliminate each other.

Going hammer and tongs at his rivals, mainly lalu, Modi said, “One leader ruled Bihar for 15 years and it is now a common knowledge what things he ate. lalu ji, Yaduvanshis stood rock solid behind you and brought you to power. Now you are accusing them and telling what they eat. I feel ashamed of what he had said.”

The PM took a bitter potshot, “I wonder why this Satan got only one place in the world that too in the body of lalu. He did not only recognise the Satan but also playing host to him.” He asked people, “Will you afford to support a person who is under influence of Satan,” and added, “Now our fight is also with Satan who has made lalu’s body his abode.”

Modi addressed crowded election meetings at Munger, Begusarai, Samastipur and Nawada. The PM will spend night at Raj Bhavan in Patna and hold some more meetings on Friday.

Comparing Congress, RJD and JD(U) alliance as a the house of famous reality serial Bigg Boss, going to be on air soon once again, Modi said here is one Bigg Boss (read lalu) who commands overall participants and making them dance to his tune like a ring leader. “They hate each other, they are scared of each other and they plan to eliminate each other in this house. Can this combination do any good to the people and Bihar,” he said.

Modi said the Congress ruled Bihar for 35 years, Bade Bhai (lalu) for 15 years and Chhote Bhai (Nitish Kumar) for 10 years but did nothing for the poor, except looting and plundering Bihar. “lalu did theatrics in 1990s and befooled people but this is 2015 and people will reject him. But lalu has not changed. The only change is that instead of himself he has fielded his two sons,” Modi said and added that lalu should tell people what crime he committed that he has been debarred to contest election. This is a fight between Jungle Raj and Vikas (development) Raj, he said.

Referring to special package of Rs1.25 lakh crore he announced earlier, the PM said this would bring prosperity in all regions and even read out projects in the areas where he addressed meetings. “These arrogant people are going to face a situation worst than 2014 lok Sabha polls in this election,” Modi said.

At his last meeting at Nawada, the PM made reference of the Wednesday speech of President Pranab Mukherjee and said this would serve as a big inspiration and guideline and show the path of peace, harmony and development.
