With Jayanthi Natarajan announcing her resignation from the Congress on Friday, TNCC president EVKS Elangovan expressed his desire to see two more Congress leaders from another family in the State leaving the party so that it further “strengthens” the Congress.
“The party will get strengthened further if two more leaders from another family too quit,” Elangovan said in an obvious reference to the father-son duo of P Chidambaram and Karti.
