A minor girl was kidnapped and gang-raped by three men in West Delhi’s Nangloi area on Saturday, police said on Sunday.
The incident took place when the girl was out for a walk after dinner on Saturday night. The accused trio — Anwar (30), a property dealer, Sandeep (32), a mobile shop owner, and Anish (35), a guard — kidnapped, gagged and took her to a godown at Kambudinagar where they raped her.
“The victim in her complaint said that the accused abducted her in a car and took her to a godown where they took turns in raping her. They threatened her of dire consequences if she informed anyone about the incident,” a police officer said.
The girl was admitted to Sanjay Gandhi Hospital at Mangolpuri in Nangloi. “The attackers dumped the girl near her house on Sunday morning after committing the crime. The girl narrated the incident to her family members, who approached the police,” confirmed an official. The girl told the police that the attackers were not known to her. Medical examination has confirmed sexual assault, police said.
