Rocky Yadav, the trigger-happy son of suspended JD(U) MlC Manorama Devi and Bindi Yadav was on Thursday convicted by a lower court in Bihar of the murder of a teenaged boy Aditya Sachdeva in 2016 in a road rage incident.
Additional District and Sessions Judge of Gaya Sachchidanand Singh announced the verdict and scheduled the next hearing on September 6 to pronounce the quantum of punishment.
Two of the other accused were also held guilty for the murder while Rocky’s father Bindi was held guilty for harbouring those involved in the crime.
The two other accused were Rajesh Kumar, the bodyguard of Rocky’s lawmaker mother, and Teni Yadav, a domestic help. Aditya, son of a Gaya trader Shyam Sachdeva, was shot by an enraged Rocky when the teenager, along with four friends, was driving from Bodh Gaya to Gaya and his car overtook Rocky’s SUV.
