The Kerala Government on Friday decided to drop an ad film featuring cricketer Sreesanth from the campaign for promotion of the Karunya lottery of the State-run Kerala lotteries following his arrest. “As a case has been registered against Sreesanth, the Government has decided to drop the ad featuring him,” said Finance Minister KM Mani. The profits generated by Karunya lottery is going into the Karunya Benevolent Fund, which is used for helping poor people in need of costly medical treatment.
