Congress chief Sonia Gandhi will take part in the ‘Bharat Jodo Yatra’ on October 6 in its ongoing Karnataka leg. Earlier, Sonia along with Priyanka Gandhi Vadra was to join the ‘padyatra’ in September. However, the party had to defer it due to the Rajasthan political crisis.
The yatra will pass through the BJP-ruled Karnataka for 21 days covering 511 km in the State. The ‘padyatra’ began on September 7 from Kanyakumari and entered Karnataka on Friday after passing through Tamil Nadu and Kerala where it witnessed an outpouring of support and enthusiasm in the two States.
