With lieutenant-Governor Najeeb Jung accepting the report of ASJ (retired) Bl Garg on the controversial midnight raid at Khirki Extension by then Delhi law Minister Somnath Bharti-led Aam Aadmi Party supporters, the AAP leader faces a legal battle.
The l-G forwarded the Garg report to the Delhi Police for necessary action as per provision of laws. The Delhi Police may file an FIR against Bharti. The report has indicted Bharti for his midnight drama and justified the police action as that was in consonance with the situation.
