In a big relief for beleaguered RJD chief lalu Prasad, senior JD(U) leader Sharad Yadav has defended him saying CBI move against him is a political vendetta.
So far no JD (U) leader had come out in support of lalu Prasad after the CBI raided 12 locations linked to
him in land-for-hotel scam. Speaking to news channel India Today TV, Sharad said lalu was being victimised and JD(U)’s alliance with RJD will remain intact
Sharad will also represent JD(U) at the Opposition parties’ meet on Tuesday to pick the vice-presidential candidate. Bihar Chief Minister Nitish kumar has decided to skip the meeting of 17 Opposition parties. The meet will be chaired by Congress president Sonia Gandhi.
