Over 2500 students enrolled in six BTech programmes last year can breathe a sigh of relief, as the University Grants Commission (UGC) on Sunday asked the Delhi University to continue the four-year programmes only for students admitted in academic year 2013-14.
However, the UGC remained silent on BMS courses. UGC also asked DU to ensure that its colleges, which admitted students to the FYUP, obtain approval from regulatory bodies such as UGC itself and AICTE to ensure that students under FYUP are not put to any disadvantage.
